I didnt want to get the movie at first but my girlfriend made me rent it. I thought it was going to be a total "chic-flic". It was a chic flic but it was pretty funny. Carl Anthony Payne was great but the supporting cast made the movie. The ex boyfriend Jay and his buddy were halarious and made the movie worth the rental fee. It seemed to be a little low budget yet I was thoroughly entertained. I am looking foward to more movies from this director.

I came across this film by recognizing the lead star (Carl Payne) from the Martin Lawrence Show. The film gives a light hearted yet refreshing approach to the subject of interracial dating. Much of the writing seems to pay homage to Kevin Smith. The film has an independent feel to it with some hysterical scenes. The lead (Carl) does a nice job delivering inner conflict and comedy. Overall I enjoyed it. I give it 4 stars, (I never give 5).

Swirl is a really funny movie with a sweet love story. This movie has a lot to offer for both men and women alike. There are many interesting, quirky characters and hilarious moments. Buy it, you'll love it!
