5.0 out of 5 stars Big & Srurdy
Very happy with this cart. It was fairly easy to assemble but count on having an extra pair of hands handy. It is big and spacious and easy to maneuver.

I got this cart for a christmas gift. I was initially nervous with the MADE IN CHINA stamped all over it, but decided to assemble it anyway.

The assembly was made very difficult by the poor build quality. Many holes were drilled in the wrong spots in the wood and metal making it very difficult to get it together. The wood seems flimsy and poorly protected (a thin layer of paint lazily applied which doesn't cover the entire surface), the bolts were designed with no washers against the plywood surface so overtightening them can do serious damage to the wood. Several of the metal parts had surface rust forming right out of the package, another part was covered in mold.

Out of the hundreds of bolts/nuts/washers required, they included the EXACT number of pieces, no extras in case of shortages or defective fasteners.

After assembly, it feels very flimsy, like there's no way it could hold 400 pounds. The improperly drilled holes make everything on the cart look sort of crooked. I may take it apart and drill new holes myself, that is in the unlikely event this lasts the season.

I can find no mention of any sort of a warranty on any of the paper work, so I'm assuming it was an as-is purchase, I guess I wouldn't want to have to stand behind this product if I was Swisher, either.

I highly recommend getting a Vermont Cart (google it) instead, they're not much more expensive, made in the USA, and guaranteed.

this cart was very good for the money..it turned out it was really larger than I needed,as an average homesteader & has pneumatic tires. I ended up buying a smaller steel fold-up cart with solid tires.I RECOMMEND EVERYONE SHOULD BUY A CART WITH SOLID TIRES! pneumatic tires are a real pain-always needing to be pumped up before you can use the cart.they are also thorn magnets & expensive to get repaired-NO FUN! also, all these style carts will flip up,& possibly injure you, or a co-worker, if someting to heavy is put on the end away from the handle-care need be taken.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Garden Cart, June 12, 2008

I have nothing bad to say about this cart. The parts are well built. The materials are satisfactory. The assembly was straight forward. All necessary parts were provided and went together per instructions. The end product is solid and should give years of service. An excellent cart for the money. The one bad review for this cart must be a crank.

I'm very pleased with my new garden cart. The larger wheels make it easy to move around obstacles, and it holds a lot. No retailer in my area had it; I'm glad it was on Amazon.
