This is a useful item when using a chainsaw. Keeping the tree off the ground and thus the chain from getting into the dirt. One suggestion. The handle should tamper more toward the end so can grip it better.

With much ice storm damage to our trees this past spring, this log jack has been a significant help in cutting up the felled trees. Like others have commented, large diameter trees cannot be easily handled with this jack, but it has been worth its cost in time saved and in keeping the chainsaw chain out of the dirt.

Very heavy-duty, the wooden handle is quite thick. I lifted a 4-foot section of 24" oak with this out of the dirt to cut with my new chainsaw. Lovely!

Was advertized to handle 14-inch logs whereas it only handles 10-inch. Seller offered refund but product worked well, so I kept it.

I bought this for my son and he uses it every day. He has a small, indoor free standing fireplace that he uses to heat his house. It is much safer to use this rather than a stick! It is easy to move hot logs.

This product is a back saver!! It does what it says. Period. Very heavy duty construction, should last a long time with proper use and care. Stop using your foot to prop up a log when using a chain saw!!!

This jack works as expected. I am satisfied with my purchase. It definitely comes in handy.

No problems. This jack had the better price than others I looked at and the quality is still good. Real thick solid wooden handle with good leverage. Works like a charm. It needs to be assembled and that only took a few minutes.

This product is made in China but it is top quality. Very Heavy Duty. Handle is huge and solid. Makes moving logs simple and keeps your blade out of the dirt. I moved a 25 foot tree branch up off the ground all by myself and my kids and I were amazed. This branch was more than 2 feet across where it broke off from the tree and it went up on the timberjack without removing all the branches. It was so heavy that the timberjack foot sunk into the ground. Everyone that cuts wood with a chain saw needs one of these. The photo doesn't do this tool justice, it's substantial.
