My husband has a torn rotater cuff so I bought him this product so that it would be easier on him to take care of the lawn and he loves it. Their is a downside he used over 25 lines to do it. It really chews up the line everytime it hits the brick on the house, I am not sure what else cause the line to break but with as expensive as that line is that is to many. They need to improve it.

This machine is easy to assemble and easy to use. Starts really easy. Went through my dried tansy stalks with ease. My only concern was my learning curve as far as the throttle is concerned. I kept breaking the trimmer line but blame that on the speed I was running at and the diameter of some brush that got in my way. Trimmer string is easy to replace. I love how easy it handles.

5.0 out of 5 stars First Class!, June 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Swisher SST22625N String Trimmer, 6.25 Gross Torque Briggs & Stratton Engine (Lawn & Patio)
If you have brush or areas that might have rocks or debris - buy this unit! Swisher is a first class company. I own 3 Swisher products and all are well made. Wheel trimmers are very powerful and can cut small brush with no problems. I use mine to cut along a lake bank and much easier than using a hand held string trimmer. The balance of this unit is nice. Engine is between wheels and with those large wheels it is easy to manuver and push. Buy the large replacment string from Amazon while you are at it. You don't often have to replace this string due to large diameter but when you do, have a pair of needle nose plyers around. It helps pulling string through holders. I had a Craftsman wheel trimmer before this one - engine was junk and unit was hard to handle. Stay with the Swisher.
