My wife wanted a new watch and I didn't want to spend more than $100. This was a good compromise, she always wanted a Swiss Army and since this model has been discontinued, it was available at a nice price. I don't wear watches myself but she liked it because it has a little bit of heft to it and she is not big on the slimmer type watches. The numbers are quite large and easy to read and I like the luminous hands and markers which work well when exposed to light. Of course you will have to pay to get it sized so it fits correctly. I think the picture is a good representation of the watch. It isn't particularly shiny as watches go, more of a matte finish if that is a good way to explain it. All I know is she loves it. I will have to keep any eye on it as far as scratching goes. At this price I don't think you can go wrong though. We did receive it with the battery dead, but I guess this might be expected with a discontinued model. It cost about $15 to get it sized and a new battery put in. The stainless steel double lock wristband is plenty big. One thing to remember about stainless steel as it tends to scratch easily. The picture doesn't do it justice.

The description did not advertise the size of the case, which seemed unusual. And when the watch arrived, it surprised me how much smaller it was than my Swiss Army Officers chronograph. Like a ladies size rather than a men's size.
The luminous hands, numbers and hour markers were acceptably bright enough, as I would not be using it at night. I liked the band, which fit me immediately. However, the battery didn't last but one week, before I had to send it in for a replacement.
(I lost this watch during shipping because I was given bad info from the Longs/CVS counter person, and I did not ship it was services that included a tracking number; like registered or certified mail)
Subsequently, I found and purchased another Swiss Army watch, with a published case size, similar to my officers chronograph. The band was way bigger, which just reinforced my impression of this watch, that its a ladies size. Since I was just wanting the watch as a casual-work watch, I would have kept it...until I lost it in shipping. Get a tracking number if you have to ship it for repair.

I am satisfied with the watch but I knew after the purchase that this model had been discontinued.
As it has a very special rubber strap, I tried to buy another strap but it has been impossible.
The distributor, WatchZone, says that they do not sell straps and Swiss Army, after remit me to WatchZone Customer Service, says that this strap is out of stock.
Then the watch life will depend of the strap life.
This is not fair.
So,I do not recomend nor the distributor, WatchZone, nor the manufacturer, Swiss Army.

Bought this last year - after a year we are very happy with it. Stylish, sporty, and well-made.

I am reviewing on behalf of my husband who bought this for me as a birthday present. This watch is great as it can be worn casual and formal. Even though the battery got replaced 3 months after purchase, I still love this.

The watch does not work properly, I have to adjust the time every morning, I really regret having purchased this watch.

I bought this watch for my friend! She loved it!
Also I got a great deal on it through Amazon.
You can't beat the prices. It's a great watch for a
great deal!!!!!
