I was getting sick of all the non-stick skillets that would warp and scratch and fall apart after a few uses and they weren't even that cheap. I decided to search for a quality non-stick pan and this is what I found. I wanted the largest size for my big Sunday breakfasts. It's expensive but it's worth every penny. The surface is super slick and it wraps all the way around the lip and down the sides. Cleanup is easy. The heat conductivity is truly unsurpassed, and I have a lot of pans and skillets! The best part is the bottom of the pan is FLAT. If you have gone to all the trouble to level your stove, this pan makes it worthwhile. No more eggs gathering in the middle or side of your pan. Take note that this is a heavy pan. It weighs as much as a cast iron skillet, so you'll get a workout. If your wrists and arms are weak, I suggest a smaller size.

I love my All Clad pots and pans but their non-stick products fall short (I have to replace them after one year). Someone turned me on to Swiss Diamond non-stick pans and they are terrific. Unlike All Clad - I can use high heat and brown food as well. They're particlarly good for fish, eggs, and polenta. So far, they've held up really well and I see no signs of wear after six months.

Saw this frying pan in a cooking class and it is everything they said it would be. Perfect size too.

I have two Swiss Diamond non-stick pans. One is 10 years old and still works like a charm. Stove & dishwasher safe, too. Worth every penny!

I purchased several Swiss Diamond pans (different sizes, including this large one) several years ago and I love them - they have the combination of the best features that some of the better pans have: excellent heat conductivity, non-stick surface, can go into the oven up to 500 F (the handle can take that) and judging by its weight and quality it's made of cast-iron, which produces superb cooking results. I love the fact that its surface is covered with diamond crystals that prevent it from blistering - ever. And, being a woman the idea that not only I wear diamonds but my food is cooked on them warms my heart:)

I'm sad to say that a couple of months ago somebody "borrowed" my 12 ½ inch frying pan and that was the last time I saw it. So, I had to purchase it again. This time I ordered it from Amazon (the price was great compared to the place I bought it the first time) and am very happy to have "my best friend" back.

I was very pleased with the quality of this frying pan. It is heavy and distributes heat very well. It was packaged well and I received it promptly.

This is probably my favorite piece of Swiss Diamond cookware and I love how versatile it is. We use it often to reheat prepared food, like orange chicken, because it transmits heat so evenly and thoroughly. Also for barbecue ribs. When I take it out of the oven, I always throw a pot holder on the handle and the opposing, short handle, because it is easy to forget it is HOT! This pan is also perfect for frying up a big batch of breaded okra and having plenty of room to turn them and make sure they are evenly browned. Couldn't do without it!

Have only had this skillet for a short time and it heats very evenly across the wide bottom and cleans very easily. Most non-stick skillet I have used clean up easily, though those with thinner bases don't heat as evenly. The real test is how long the non-stick surface lasts. If this one lasts more than 9 months, it will be the best non-stick skillet I have ever owned.

Seems to be as advertised. I have not owned it long enough to know how long the non-stick stays non-stick. It is slow to heat up. The side is more vertical than it looks in the picture. All in all, it is good with eggs, which is my main need for non-stick.

Just got the pan today and cooked simple eggs as a test. I love the quality, heft and even heat distribution and the 12" is an ideal size. Like my enamel coated iron skillets, really no need to go past medium heat on a gas stove for searing.. Overall, a great pan and like several other reviews stated...got really tired of spending 40-50 dollars every 6 months on other non-sticks. This is my only non-stick pan and by the looks of it so far, it might be the only one I use for a long time.
