We read this book to our 8 year old son each night before bed and it was terribly boring. We were looking for books so that he could read along to himself and that would introduce him to some classics. We enjoyed Tom Sawyer, Les Miserables, and Robin Hood from this series much more. This one was just too boring.

I haven't read this version of the book but if it is like the other Stepping Stone Books I will be great. It is a very readible book. It is easy to read and understand.
