I have always been a fan of Swiss watches of all calibers. But, for the money, this one is hard to beat. I love this watch. I wear it out to dinner with my wife or out on the beach without a single concern. Many people have estimated the cost between $500 and $2000. Little do they know the real cost (cause I am not going to tell them).

I bought a very similar Hanowa Swiss Military watch. The watch was very attractive, had clear and bold numbers, and generally was good looking. Unfortunately, it stopped working four months after I received it. I sent it back to Hanowa's U. S. agent for warranty repairs. Instead, I got an estimate for repairs in the amount of $175.00, or nearly what I paid for the watch. It was a casual-wear watch, and looked like new when returned. I expected that something labelled Swiss Military would be fairly robust. Apparently in this case, "Swiss Military" means "Fragile, do not wear" or something similar.
