I used the subscription discount to try this out last week, and have been very pleased with what I got. You get two sets of 4 cute (re-usable) tins, each containing 6 packets of the vanilla, caramel, mint, or milk chocolate cocoa mix.
I started out making the cocoa with 2% milk heated in the microwave, thinking that the hot water method would be too thin (and the hot milk version was very rich and sweet and frothy -- almost too sweet and rich, perhaps, though I slept very well immediately after finishing it, thanks to the hot milk!). Then I tried using plain old hot water from the microwave, and that's extremely satisfying -- chocolatey and frothy -- if a trifle less rich.
If I want the extra calcium or the soothing effect of the hot milk, I think I'd use hot skim or 1% milk, in future. But for now I'm enjoying the chocolatey treat made with hot water.

The Swiss Miss collection in cute little tins can easily be given as a gift or, by giving a tin and an appropriate cup tied up in a gift bag, divided up for teacher gifts, etc. My 16-year-old daughter and her friends especially liked the mint and caramel flavors. They're also great mixed in with coffee.

I have a Keurig and I have I have been looking for a less expensive alternative to the hot chocolate k cups. I also like the flavored hot chocolates. After a lot of searching I decided to give this a try based on the subscription price and the review. Many of the hot chocolate mixes are too watery with water instead of milk, but these are very good. They are not too sweet either. They work well on the 6 or 8 oz. cup setting and the chocolate dissolves very well with just the hot water from the keurig. I am very happy with this purchase. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the tins were all dented in when I received my order. Unfortunately they were too bent to really be used for anything else. I will order this again though because these hot chocolates are very good and priced well for what you get.
