By A Customer
This review is from: Swiss Russian Mennonite Families Before 1874 (Hardcover)
This book is a must if you have Swiss Mennonite/Amish relatives who eventually ended up in the Ukraine or if they moved with this particular group. It gives an overall history as well as history of their migrations for each particular family, where they originated, how they joined in some instances, as well as place name maps. And of course, the genealogy taken from the church records with cross-referencing to other families in the book. Mr. Krehbiel also lists a comprehensive list of his own sources used enabling user to access original sources. It is very thorough.
