Shade walls do the job!,

We used the shade walls INSIDE the screened canopy, also from SWISS GEAR, at a recent festival where we were vending our food products. It fit well, went up - attached easily, and really did the job in shading us from the 88 degree afternoon sun. We hope to add some graphics to the walls to aid our marketing efforts.

Great for the beach,
This review is from: SwissGear Outdoor Sunscreen / Windbreak Wall (Sports)
I bought this sunshade because we went to the beach for a week for a family vacation. My mom loves to be by the ocean but has had skin cancer and cannot expose herself to the sun. We used the sunshade and canopy all week and it was fantastic. Easy to set up, durable, and blocked the sun. I would highly recommend this product.

Smart Shade saves us at the swim meets,

We use these easy up tents at our son's swim meets to protect him and the family from weather conditions. He is a year-round swimmer, so it is rain, wind, or sun, we need protection. Last month, December, was the coldest and windiest one and we could not have done it without the Smart Shade. It made the tent like an outdoor room. The price was excellent too.

March 5th, 2011 we had a chili cook off event we were asked to attend. It was to be held outdoors in N. Conway, NH. The day was a cold/windy/rainy/snowy day. I had purchased prior a 10 x 10 Quick Shade canopy. I needed 3 side walls for this canopy. So I purchased 3 of these Swiss Gear Smart Shade Sunscreen/Windbreakers. They went up easy and worked very nicely with my Quick Shade canopy keeping us out of all that nasty weathers...:)

Great Item,

We bought this to use during events to shade us while promoting our business. This item worked out great. It shielded us from the sun. Then even held up during a very windy rain storm. The wind was blowing and we were afraid we would be getting very wet. We didn't!
We haven't had this long but it has served us well at several events already and I anticipate it will do so for years to come.

Canopy a good fit for Art Festivals,

The Swiss Gear Shade Canopy with single windbreaker, is ideal for my needs. Compact when folded, easy to pull around and "mindless" to get up or down. One person can do it when the sponsers are considerate enough to have volunteers to help "stretch" the assembly in set-up.
Festivals are often on hardscape . . . For requisite wind-tie-down weights ( each foot at the telescoping legs is slotted) I suggest concrete pads ( large dog-dish for forms) with a carriage bolt protruding; get four hand-spindles (lawnmower parts) to fit bolts. Each pad adds 10-15 lbs of anchorage and the bonus . . . . you gain an additional 4 inches in clearance all around. Quality beats that of E Z Up units I see so many of . . . uncertain if there is big $$ difference. Senior on Sabbatical

I like how this windbreaker works, and fits good on a 10 x 10 canopy.

Works as expected. A little delicate and needs 2 people to setup but I had no trouble setting it up and taking it down and repacking.

Swiss Gear Canopy side curtain,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SwissGear Outdoor Sunscreen / Windbreak Wall (Sports)
I bought a side curtain when I bought the canopy. I have other side curtains(with sports logos for tailgating)so I only needed one more. The other curtains also attached easily. The side curtain matched the canopy and is very easy to install. Just pull elastic strips that are attached to the top corner of the curtain around top of each end pole and hook. Then do the same at multiple places along the top inside pole of the canopy. Then down the end poles. It takes a minute or so to attach and the side curtains are great. My short wife had to stand on tip toe to attache the top loops. Now she uses a small step stool or lets me to the top while she does the sides. The black loop goes on the top, not the bottom of the curtain. At first I thought it was a loop for a ground stake but it is a velcro attachment that supports the middle of the curtain at the top.
The curtains give additional support to the canopy in wind and rain and blocks the sun. Light filters through the marerial so it is not dark inside when all curtains are installed. There is no chance of sun burn with the canopy or side curtains, it only lets in enough light to see well. I was able to easily stow the side curtain in the canopy bag with no bulge.
