I bought this item because I've been looking for a keychain that is unique and in this case, useful. The product is not that shiny as compared to the one you see in the picture here. It is stainless and feels really sturdy when you are trying to 'transform' it into a screw driver and/or pliers. I tried unscrewing a big screw in my apartment using the big philips screw driver head and I was surprised on how fast I was able to unscrew everything, I under-estimated how strong this product is. The grip of the pliers is also very good, you won't see a gap in any of the teeth when closed. Once the drivers are folded in, there is no way this thing would get loose from your key ring. The hinges are strong and you need some amount of force to be able to fold out/in the drivers.

Very satisfied with the product. Exactly the size I'm looking for as a keychain (about the size of my thumb, 1 inch by 2 inches when folded) and tools are very useful and as strong as regular size drivers. Of course, you don't expect it to be as comfortable as regular sized tools but you still get the job done when the only thing you have in your pocket is this little thing. Works for me! I always have those instances when I encounter stuff and think to myself, if only I have a screw driver or pliers with me.

Comes in a really nice small metal case (just like the ones where they put mint candies in), I wouldn't mind if it was in a blister pack (which would have made it cheaper) but the case would be better if you plan to give this to someone as a gift (that's why they call it gift box in the title :D). There is foam padding inside the case where this item is fitted snuggly and a lifetime warranty paper. Yes, lifetime warranty against any defects not caused by wear and tear, the usual.

You can't compare this with the likes of victorinox, leatherman, gerber, etc. Size wise, this beats all of them. As mentioned, I review this thing as a very useful and unique keychain and not as a pocket tool. It just so happens that this thing functions as a plier and screw driver on top of being a keychain.

I hope this thing is allowed through airports and other high security areas as I see no reason why, no knife/blade in the product, just like I wanted.

The 8 in 1 is a very useful tool that is small and compact. I keep it in the watch pocket of my jeans where it is with me when ever I need it. I have had an 8 in 1 for four years and just upgraded to the polished stainless model. The small screw driver even works with glasses.

I bought this for my 2 year old, I carry a similar Multi-tool that my son always tries to take from me. I picked this one because there is NO KNIFE on it. Even though I am trusting enough to give pliers to a 2 year I am not dumb enough to give him a KNIFE. He loves it, when he can find it, we use it to change batteries in toys that require a small screwdriver. Works great for the work it was intendid for, don't try to take your washing machine apart or change the brakes on your car with it, it isn't a magic wand.

I have owned two of these, and I was relatively unimpressed with it. I decided to try one, inspired by the excellent Utili-key. I was not impressed with this product.

My initial reaction was: a nice product. But this is very bulky for a "key ring" tool. But the pliers were strong for the size and the tool was handy enough.

After using it for several weeks/months, the hinges really started to loosen, from squeezing the pliers (ie, using them). Now, the 'legs' of the pliers would always rotate around loosely in my pocket, and this would fall off my keychain. The "jaws" on the pliers seem to lose precision with wear and tear.

Verdict: Not durable, too clunky to be a real "keychain" tool, and too light-duty to be a good plier tool.

I do have a thing for pocket tools. I carry a Leatherman Micra in my pocket every day. However, I wanted a second tool to keep close at hand in my living room, where for some strange reason is where I decide to take things apart, fix items, change batteries, etc. It seems I always need a small screwdriver and never have one handy.

Well, now I have one. And I'm very pleased with it. The 8-in-1 is a nice heavy piece, with nicely finish edges all around. The tools pivot smoothly, if somewhat stiffly in their newness. I'm sure the action will loosen up over time.

In case the included tools are not clear from the product description, you get a small and large flat head screwdriver, small and large phillips screwdriver, wire cutter, wire stripper, pliers, and 1/8 inch scale. I'm guessing that's the 8th item, since I can't find another one ;)

This version comes in a nice gift tin. The tool will fit easily in a front pocket, purse, on a keyring, or, if you're like me, on the end table next to the sofa so you can take things apart without going to fetch a tool to do it.

Very good quality, well made, nicely finished, and a great price.

Great little tool. I'm an A/V Tech at a major university and I need to keep tools with me at all times for last-minute repairs and adjustments in the field.

I actually used this little guy twice the first day I had it. We're only as good as our tools.

i got one as a gift and loved it. showed to my handyman who thought it would be handy for his occupation so i bought him one. he uses it almost everyday.

Work's in a pinch and will fit in your pocket. It is ok for small job's

Well thought out and well assembled, this key ring tool is great for those of us who do not use tools regularly, but occasionally encounter that annoying lose screw or nut. Screw driver sizes are just right for most jobs. Pliers are quite small, which limits their utility, but they work fine on light jobs involving small parts. Disappears nicely in the pocket or on a key chain, will not open accidentally, and has no sharp corners or serrations that will wear holes in your pocket or purse. If you know that you are going to need to do extensive work, this little guy will not suit you; you need a full-size multi-tool. However, for urban office dwellers and the like, it is a very good addition to that collection of small conveniences that it is good to have on hand every day and everywhere.

I bought in past a Sheffield pocket pliers in the past they are good but they want a lot more for it and 65% of the price to ship it, NO WAY. So I decided to purchase this instead. The price is right and well worth it. I use little pocket tools like almost daily. The little screw drivers are super handy for many things. I only wish it had a small knife blade on it to open packages and what not. I advise people NOT to put on a key chain I lost many little tools this way. If the pliers get twisted just a little to as you would to open them , they can easily fall off your key ring if you wear a belt clip like I. But I would recommend this to others. :)
