Summary: If it's always in your pocket, you may find a use or two for it. It's well put together and very small. There are better multi-tools out there at comparable prices; many in hardware-store checkouts.

I purchased this to meet a price-point for free shipping.

The tool is very small. Slightly smaller than 3x2 (six) of the keys on my very generic keyboard.

The mechanism that locks the tool in place onto a ring or such (mine used to share a ring with a LED flashlight) is clever and can never come undone as long as the handles are holding it closed.

The markers on the sides are not labeled, so if you forget the unit it's of little use. They're 1/8th of an inch but could be mistaken for centimeters or something else. A stamp on the side of the handle would've been nice.

The pliers have a poor texture for holding onto many things, but the handles provide good leverage to pinch down on smaller objects, such as "...to extract a broken key from a lock." per NomDePlume.

The flat-sided driver has a tip that is too narrow and "widens" so quickly that it hasn't fit anything "juuuust right" that I've run into yet.

The Phillips-head driver is no better. The tip is very rounded, very, I suppose so it doesn't stab you in the leg in your pocket. The teeth increase in thickness too quickly for my liking.

I recommend unfolding the pliers and fold in whichever handle you're not using as the driver. It's almost frustrating when the handles turn out-of-straight when you try to loosen a screw. A notch and nipple might've helped this.

The shear is nice. I found it useful for trimming plastic pull-ties and the handles provide good leverage.

Excellent, simple, sturdy little device. Picked it up for six bucks at the hardware store checkout counter, and was very pleased. Pliers and screwdrivers are the most common things I need for little spot jobs, and now I have them with me 24/7. Like most guys, I've collected multitools and swiss army knives over the years, but nothing small enough to clip to a keyring and forget about. I actually used the pliers the next day, to extract a broken key from a lock.

Incidentally, I bought a Swisstech "utili-key" last year. It was flimsy, and broke off the keyring. I won't buy that again. This piece is very solid, and will not come off the keyring as long as the screwdriver arms are folded up.

I'd like it to have a little blade, but nothing more. I'm not interested in the "19-in-1" model -- too busy, too many small parts to fiddle with and possibly break. The good thing about no blade, however, is that it won't get confiscated at airport security.

This thing's great. I'll buy more for stocking stuffers next Christmas!

This little thing comes in handy when you need it. I can't tell you how many times I've use it. I clamp it to my keys and it's always around when I need it.

An inexpensive tool (no it won't last forever--remember the low cost), that comes in handy more than I'd like to admit. One can do just about anything with this gadget--I just finished repairing a broken chain on my granddaughters necklace using only this 6 in 1 tool. Ya, it may be a tad bit too large/heavy for a keyring for most people, but mine is always on my keyring, and ya know what? It is always with me when I need it (which is quite often). I use this thing on an average of 3 times per week, and more often when fishing and hunting. It's amazing what this thing can do/be used for.

I purchased this one to replace the same one that was on my key chain for over 2 years--the rivet in one handle was getting loose (because of the large amount of use it had), and it was coming apart on its own and falling off my key chain. For 8 bucks and 30 months of service, I can't complain.

I got mine through another vendor, but I'll review it.

The pliers are more nippers, but they are able to grab SMALL things very well. The hinge pins are going to be a limiting factor to how much force you can apply, but the handles aren't long enough for you to really put THAT much force on it. The straight driver doesn't really fit anything well, but a moment with a file fixed that. Likewise, the phillips driver tries to fit a #1 and a #2 screw, but fails on both, so again filing down the tip is needed.

But really, for most people, that's a step that shouldn't be needed. For some professional tools, sure, customizing them to your specific task is not only acceptable but expected. For <$8 keychain widget.... not so much.

I've used this too many times to count over the course of a year. It's sturdy enough for small tasks, yet compact enough to fit into my purse. I last carried it in my pocket for use on odds and ends when helping my sister move, and ended up leaving it with her. I've since replaced it with the 19 in 1 Micro Max, which features the same basic skeleton with a few added tools in a way that's still functional and compact. The only minor quibble that I have is that the arms don't lock into place.
