The Briefcase we bought was for our new 17" Laptop Computer. It is not quite wide enough to fit our computer into the compartment the computer is to go into so we don't have the protection, we would have if we were able to put it there. We are using the compartment you would normally use for materials. I would include better measurements of the inside diamentions of the bag. Overall, we are pleased with the bag.

I went cheap trying to buy the same type bag. It lasted 3 months. This bag is SOOOO much better then the one by Olympic. It doesn't pay to be cheap GET QUALITY. Wheels are great zippers are great! I'm happy FINALLY

was looking for a compact roller. this is prefect. All i ever see is the big box type. great quality too

this item is fantastic, I purchased it as a gift for the wife and she absolutely loves it.

I was looking for a computer bag that could also hold papers and a change of clothes. This one came at a good price on Amazon, at a cost that would usually only get you a computer bag with a strap. Comparing it to my Eagle Creek roller bags, the wheels do not run as smoothly but all else works well, including the telescoping handle. I can stuff what I need into the three well-lined compartments, including one for paper and pens, another for the laptop, and then close them with smoothly functioning zippers.
More than I expected for this price. I am using it everyday and it has held up well.

How many times can you say that something was exactly as you expected?
I teach college anatomy and physiology and I need to carry a laptop (and misc wires because I wasn't smart enought to buy a Mac), one or two textbooks, homework assignments, and an odd assortment of pens, pencils, pointers. Everything fits neatly and I can stay organized. The handle is in a great spot and provides for a good balance for the times when I need to carry the contents by hand. The wheels have not failed in the year that I have used it. The telescoping handle is sturdy and adjusts to a couple of different heights. This Swiss Gear bag does not twist/rotate or become unstable over uneven surfaces as sometimes happens with bags that have a single or close-set extension handle. A very good value for my needs.

I purchased this bag a year ago, and have only used it occassionally. While I was initially happy with it for the first 3 months, soon, the handle started becoming unbalanced, and then the top portion of the handle just broke and fell off. I tried contacting customer service because this is theoretically under a 3-year warranty, but got no response. I'm pretty disappointed, especially after reading all those other great reviews.

I wanted relief from my shoulder pain caused by carrying around a 15.4" laptop. This bag works well. It rolls well and seems sturdy enough. I've flown with it on two trips and it fits under the seat in front of you, even if that seat has a DC power adapter block under it, as so many AA planes do.

Although it took longer than I had anticipated to receive, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got it and used it. I was using a regular nylon ballistic briefcase for work and for travel and it just got too heavy and cumbersome. I saw this case and it looked like the perfect size to take to work everyday and to slip under the seat in front of me on airplanes when I travel. wasn't interested in anything that I could pack clothes in and wanted something strictly for my computer and associated papers and folders for work. The case is sturdy, has several divider pockets and compartments and so far appears to be a really good value for the price I paid. I searched several local brick and mortar discount stores (e.g., Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx) and the quality and price of the SwissGear case was significantly better than what I found. If you have the time to wait to receive it, I highly recommend the purchase of this no-nonsense computer case/briefcase for daily use and for travel.

I'm very happy whith my new briefcase, I'm a pilot and it was that I needed, good size, good cuality, not to big-not to small. swissGear is a exellent brand.
