Red being essential if it is going to be viewed from the Swiss perspective, and European restaurants, this is THE only pot to buy. Fondue is an experience, not fast food, so it would be a travesty to buy an electric stainless steel type--if you want fast, just use a pot you own on the stove. If you want to step into the experience, buy this pot.
