Perfect for certain uses,

I have been looking all over for these. i believe WM has stopped carrying them. They are absolutely perfect for touching up eyeliner (with a dab of water) that may be a bit too wide on the eyelids on under the eyes. Real Q Tips have so much cotton on them that it is very difficult to control the tip. Because these have less cotton, it is easier to control where it is going.
Also, if I want to clean my inner ear (not really far in, but just a bit) real Q TIps have so much cotton that it pulls up and I am afraid it will end up off of the tip and in my ear canal. Because these have less cotton, they do not do that.

Belly button lint and a toothpick would be better,

Got a box of these at W M because of the low price. I got what I paid for, cheap imitation Q tips. The cotton on the end comes right off with the least bit of use. Especially if you're using them to clean something with peroxide or anything else that wets the cotton. And speaking of the cotton, there's very little of it. I could probably do better with my belly button lint and a toothpick. I suggest that you add a little to what you want to spend and get some real Q Tips instead of these. Unless you want them for something that doesn't matter if the cotton comes off so easy.
