Out of all the people who have really defined Rap music, no one has ever hit that feeling without losing his cool like Will Smith. Not only is he is a fantastic, and charasmatic actor, but he has still maintained his reflections with making great music. Unlike Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce', Will Smith has kept his rhythm alive, without making himself seem manufactured. His latest anthem, Switch, from his return to the rap world, Lost & Found, is a great party anthem, and still shows that the once Fresh Prince can still make a good song. It is very upbeat, and is just delightful to listen to, especially after his dissapointing Born To Reign record. Unlike most rap music which seems more like you hate the world, Will keeps showing that he still has it. I really like the beat of this track. It is just great to dance to.

Song: B 1/2+

the R&B mix takes the song down a notch and it loses all its NRG.If you have the full CD, don't go out of your way to grab this remix.

The Fresh Prince has been rapping for close to 20 years now, and even though Will's rap career has arguably taken a backseat to his movie career, he's still making music and keeping it genuine. That alone deserves MAD props.

Switch is a pretty cool song for the dance floor, and I'm extremely glad Will isn't following any trends - like jumping onto the Crunk bandwagon. Nope, Switch is just another infectious Will Smith pop hit.

Big Will must be in love with hip-hop, because with the kind of money he has, he could stop making records at any time to focus on his acting career. But his desire to make music, and make it genuine, shows some kind of integrity that I've never seen in a musician-turned-actor.

Switch is my #1 Favorite song of all time and i have heard songs from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s and this is the best song ive heard! I dont know what that guy was thinking when he gave it one star. He must have got this song mixed up with another one!!

I hate the original. I'll be point blank. I think it's trash. I didn't know what Will was thinking with that version. But then I remembered the MIB2 (Black Suits Comin) song...and then it made sense.

Then I heard the R&B Remix to Switch, and I was hooked. THIS is what Will Smith is good at, this style is perfect for him and leaves him at the top of his game. I don't think it's a sampled beat, or if it is, it's a very minimal sample, because I don't recognize it. It's just good.

Will Smith has that habit of appearing every now and then with a track that is so shamefully catchy that your limbs end up jolting and the next thing you know, you are on the dancefloor moving like crazy. 'Switch' is definitive of Smith's floorfiller tracks that does exactly this.

Lyrically, it is typical Smith nonsense and stupid, of course but the beat compensates for the mediocre words. Despite what many hip hop connoisseurs think of Will Smith, denying the hit factor of this song is futile -- it has a heavy beat and is one of those songs that you'll be singing along to not because you like Smith but because of its' contagious nature
