This product made a night & day difference in my indoor garden. It is switchable and comes with the 1000w HPS bulb. The only drawback on this product is that the ballast doesn't have a heat sink so plan on storing it somewhere with good circulation. I also have to mention how great the customer service was. They answered all my questions and were quick to reply to my emails.

This Ballast is very quiet, and the reflector hood was very easy to assemble, do NOT set the glass tube on anything hard to assemble the hood, as any hard surface will scratch the glass tube.

I do not believe the bulb that comes with this setup is actually providing 120000 lumens, as its kind of a cheapie.

This 1000 watt light system is very cool even without an inline fan and the ducting. I have this reflector 19" from the tops of my plants and it is only 77F on the top leaves. I have not as yet purchased an inline fan and the duct work, and am now considering not purchasing them at all as this design vents most of the heat generated by the bulb to the sides out the ends of the cool tube.

I am very happy with this system, but would buy a better HPS bulb with it.
