I actually owned this for over a year. No problems except I went for a trail run last week, and poof it's gone. My guess is that because it's made with a plastic swivel to lock the clip around the shoelace. Must of worn down and gotten loose....I just replaced the sensor too, because the old one ran out. I think it's time to try the velcro one

I love the RunAway AnyShoe Adapter for Nike+ iPod Sports Kit. It can be attached to your shoe when you want to use it and then taken off when you're done. Much easier on the sensor's battery. Also comes with a storage method for the transmitter so that everything stays together and doesn't get lost. I can tuck the shoe adapter in my iPod Sock and it's good to go anywhere, anytime.

This is a simple and effective alternative to having to buy a Nike+ shoe. It does keep the sensor securely in place as recommended for accuracy in your distance. I ran about a year with one before the top came off, losing the transmitter. I believe the part that locks it in place can't take long term stress.

I recommend checking it periodically for signs of stress.

If you want a pouch type, make sure it keeps it secure with no extra movement. This is required for maximum accuracy.

Do not buy!!! It came apart during the first race I wore it in and I lost my Nike sensor!!! Needless to say I could not find it when I went back to look for it....Very disappointed!!!!!

I bought this Adapter over two years ago to use with my iPod Nano. As a life long runner, I don't wear Nike shoes so this item was the perfect option for me when using the Nike+ feature on the Nano. It's also convenient for switching from one pair of shoes to another if you like to rotate several pairs of running shoes. I have never lost the adapter of sensor with this device.

Have been using this for over a year now. Easy to switch from shoe to shoe. Have even run on rugged trails and never had a problem.

Do not waste your money. It is a great idea but it is obviously not effective as I have now lost two sensors. (The first time I wondered if I had somehow just misplaced it.) It sure adds up having to replace sensors! And since the company isn't affiliated with Nike it is going to be a challenge to get Switcheasy to refund money for lost clips and sensors. I wish I had read these reviews before buying mine. I see there are some who have had success with them and others whose lasted for a longer period of time but I really wouldn't recommend it. Save your money and save a lot of stress and frustration. (Now to make a little homemade pocket before I head out for today's run!)

This think is worthless. I put my transmitter in it, went outside to take a quick run. I literally softly ran across the street, the thing popped off my shoe as I was crossing and a truck ran over both the case and my brand new transmitter. $30 down the drain in less than a minute.

Before anyone jumps all over me, I followed the instructions and put the transmitter in correctly. Everything was snapped together correctly, the thing is just a huge piece of garbage.

Safe lock ,easy adjustment, can fit all the shoes and any type of them.

Product was mailed to me without the major component. Would have cost me just as much to send it back as it did to order it. Sucks. Ended up just throwing the darn thing away! Had to give it one star 'cause it wouldn't let me give it zero! What a waste of money!
