I love this item, didn't buy mine from Amazon and I wish I would have, I bought mine from [...] and their shipping cost is ridiculous. The other review for this item is not discribing this item but another one. This one , you do not get a choice in heavy duty or not (heavy duty is not needed). There are no metal bars in this one as the item is all molded platic. The other review is giving this product a bad name. This item works just like its described and they are correct over sized spice jars will not fit in this item but thats not important to me. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I managed to squash my Penzeys spice jars into the tracks, but it's tight and the tracks splay a bit so although this rack is marginally useful, I won't be buying another. The easy pull out operation isn't so easy because the tracks are stretched and only four jars fit on each tier (barely). This is a pretty flimsy unit, but will work for more slender jars and does what it advertises as long as you are gentle with it. It won't stand rough treatment.
I've become a great fan of Penzeys spices and am branching out to try new cuisines so I've amassed quite a collection of bottles to store. For me, this unit will serve tolerably to store things I don't use much. For other potential buyers, I'd recommend it only if you use a spice brand such as McCormack or Spice Islands since their bottles are narrower and five bottles will fit on each shelf, and if you are willing to handle it gently. It can be a space saver. I won't return it, but am not thrilled either.

Just received the package of 2 swivel store units less than half an hour ago and have already reboxed for return. First thing I noticed is NO INVOICE SLIP in box...how do you return??
Second thing is I paid extra for the heavier duty version. What a joke...flimsy plastic.
Third, there were 8 light-weight metal bars with a short L at one end and a slot running down the center and no instructions on what to do with it. Tried to fit it on anyway I could and no go.
Fourth, the thing may be only 4"x4" in size, but it won't even hold a frontier spice jar measuring 2"X2" square X 4 1/2" tall. I have 30+ of these jars filled with herbs and spices that I wanted to organize in my limited space cabinets, but it won't fit this nominal size jar! On top of that I could see even if the jars fit it was going to be difficult to remove them from the non-stable unit (the only way this thing could ever be stable is if you nail or screw it to the bottom of the cabinet).
Now, I have to figure out how to return these useless things and get a credit on my credit card. Save your money and buy something better and sturdier!!

Very flimsy, not all standard spice jars fit
This organizer is supposed to store up to 20 standard size spice jars but none of my standard size jars fit because they are about a couple of millimeters too tall. Read more

I wish it was sturdier
This is a great concept and definitely helped to organize our spice bottles. Howevever, when it gets pulled out to swivel and turn, it is very wobbly and unstable. Read more
