This beautifully produced CD comes packed with 16 stunning Jazz-flavored tracks including two bonus tracks: a re-mix by the multi talented Tape Five and a re-sing (which means different lyrics and different melody on the same musical playback) by London based cool school Jazz singer Iain Mackenzie. Also features musical appearances from Dean Bowman, Anna-Luca, Brenda Boykin, Reiner Winterschladen, Philipp Schug, Dirk Sengotta and others. Club Des Belugas have stepped up to the plate and pulled out another hit album similar to St‚phane Pompougnac's Hotel Costes, Jose Padilla's Man Ray, Claude Challe's Just Good Music and Saint Germain des Pr‚s Caf‚.

I like every song. Especially Take Three. All of them have a cool jazzy sound, without being completely jazz, which is great for listening in background because it makes it more accessible, electronical music being somewhat more "democratic". I love jazz in general, but I know not all the friends I have over for diner do. This cd plus Tourist (from St-Germain) played back-to-back : amazing!

I randomly came across this group on a website called Aurgasm a few weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. The music is never exactly a traditional bossa nova or standard jazz - it's somewhere in between. But the beats are always good and the re-interpretations are catchy and creative!
