Book Description

September 6, 2005
Lukien, the Bronze Knight of Liiria, was once the kingdom's greatest champion-and then he betrayed his king. Consumed by guilt, he now lives in self-imposed exile, devoting himself to the protection of the mountain fortress of Grimhold and wearing one of the magical amulets known as the Eyes of God. But Grimhold is threatened by a murderous magical secret, the Devil's Armor, which has at last found a wearer. Only the hidden Sword of Angels can defeat the Devil's Armor-if Lukien can find it before it is too late.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly a wonderful journey, November 6, 2005

This review is from: The Sword of Angels (Hardcover)
I have to admit that this series is something you are happy to have been a part. This last installment does have by far the best piece of writing in the series. The characters are well developed and the ending is a twist that is welcome. I must honestly say that I did not expect the ending and for this I was appreciative. Some of the characters may be a bit sallow but I would have to say that I am glad that I read this series and would do so in a heartbeat.

RECOMMENDATION: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the books, January 2, 2007
After reading all the books by John Marco, in the series of Tyrants and King, and now the three books in this series, I have concluded that, for me, John Marco is one of the best writers in this genre (I am looking forward to reading the books of George R. R. Martin when he finishes his series).
I was amazed by the way John Marco can create a world and a story, all his books have a story that is so interesting that you have to keep reading it until you finish it, its a amazing how he handles that many characters and doesn't lose you in the way, how he shows you so many places, each different from the rest, with their own rules and problems.
He does in one book what a lot of writers do in three or more, the story is always advancing and a lot happens in each book, so you are never bored.
If I could give more stars to this book i would(and to all his books, because I like almost all of them the same), I highly recomend all of John Marco`s books to everybody, no only science fiction / fantasy readers, you will enjoy them very much

5.0 out of 5 stars A book worthy of being in your collection., October 27, 2005

This review is from: The Sword of Angels (Hardcover)
The Sword of Angels is the third book in the Eyes of God trilogy. It is a well written book and never has failed to keep me intrested. John Marco puts alot of time and effort into each character he creates. He adds so much depth to the characters in all three of his books in the Eyes of God trilogy, that you can't but help to feel sad when something dramatic happens to one of the characters. The Sword of Angels is a great book and is worth checking out. If you like Authors such as Robert Jordan and George R.R. Martin I would suggest that you pick up John Marcos The Sword of Angles and his first two books in his trilogy.
