It's quite small and attractive. The case is also a casting so it is fairly heavy. Maybe a little too heavy for a sock knife (sgian dubh). The blade was a bit crudely ground, but I fixed that quickly with a file. For ornamental and ceremonial purposes it is quite acceptable, especially for the price I paid.

This is so cheap you would think it may come apart after a week or so but my mom bought one at a flea market years ago and its still perfect. Very heavy nice little knife, nnot really for real use but a great treasure to have. Not very celtic, blade is dull, but still nice to just have.

this knife served me well. I used it to hunt with and fish with. i was great. Perhaps a little hard to sharpen but good none the less.

I purchased 2 of these, one for my son and one for a friend. It is a great little knife, especially for the price. It has a lot of detail on the sheath and handle. Once it is sharpened it makes a great self defense kivfe or just a beautiful knife to display with your collectio.

Pros:
Beautiful; Well-constructed; Arrived in a timely manner; Excellent design; Good heft; Great price.

Cons:
Title being sold as says Celtic Boot Knife...title on box when arrives is Texas Boot Knife; Looks like a Texas Boot Knife - not a Celtic Boot Knife; made in a country neither Texas, US nor Ireland or Scotland or any European country...instead it is made in the middle East! So the title really does not make sense.

If you are looking for a decent knife, this is, however if you are looking for a Celtic knife, this is not. It is fairly sturdy and could probably really be used but the fact that it says TEXAS KNIFE on the box and is covered with a scene of a forest and a deer makes it not Celtic. So to sum up not as happy as I thought and not completely unhappy.

This is a nice little knife just to have for the price..its looks to be cheaply made but once you hold it, its pretty heavy and fits nice in to the sheath...it locks in and stays in but u have to put it in one direction...the detail is ok but looks kinda crapy and is not that shinny but it is still a cool knife to hold

The knife is not really a Celtic knife, however it is still nicely made and has a nice weight to it.
