The item itself is a great collection item. It's very stable and durable. Now, the sword its supposed to enter in the middle of both dragons. One of the placements had a bigger diameter than the other hole making the Katana unstable and unalign. I had to put a piece of wood to make it fit. I don't complaint about the item itself but in the end did not like it...

It is larger and heavier than it looked on-line. It is able to hold my grandson's wooden sword he uses in his karate class.

I purchased the 'Double Dragon Sword Stand' for my 16 year old grandson. He is into all the Japanese and oriental items and dragon items our one of his favorite. He was very pleased with the stand and thought it was quite unique. It is displayed in his room with the sword we also purchased for him.

I love this item, before getting this my sword was on display with a homemade stand that just could not compare. Anyone with a Katana or Wakizashi to display will appreciate this stand.

I bought the stand for my son's dragon katana and it works beautifully. The detailing on the piece is outstanding. It could use a little more weight in the base for balance when in use.

If you are into kiddish and toyish looking sword stands then this item might be for you.
If, on the contrary, you are looking for something that looks decent and has some sort of stability then I STRONGLY advice to look else where. I was really excited when I saw the picture and bought the item right away. My frustration seconds after I saw the real thing was beyond belief. Worse thing I ever bought.
