Pretty Cool Module, May 8, 2010
This review is from: Swords of Deceit (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons/Lankhmar module CA2) (Paperback)
In the dead of the night, a ghastly fog shrouds the deserted streets. Doors are locked, windows shuttered, as a deathly silence haunts the shadows. Almost all of Lankhmar's citizens cower in their homes. Tonight the streets and alleys of Lankhmar belong to the ancient gods - this is the Night of Fear.
Whose life will be lost this night - a lonely wench abandoned in the street? Perhaps a young noblewoman betrayed by her family?
You can find out, as you venture into the dark and winding streets of Lankhmar. But beware, eyes are already watching you.
For 10th-15th level.
This module comes with a fairly nice map of Lankhmar and presents three seperate adventure scenarios.
This module contains three adventure scenarios and seeds for several others. The first adventure is a story of betrayal and revenge between two rival siblings. The second adventure is a follow-up to the rat-human war and the final story includes a Vampire, a creature known as the Eater of Souls and the Gods OF Lankhmar (not to be confused with the gods IN Lankhmar).

1st edition D&D module, April 10, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Swords of Deceit (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons/Lankhmar module CA2) (Paperback)
This is a 1st edition D&D module set in the city of Lankhmar from Fritz Lieber's fantasy stories. It is very moody and dark and provides some good adventures. If you can get your hands on it I would highly recommend it.
