Excellent History! Excellent Writing! Excellent telling of an intriguing story, with much insight into the meaning and consequences of these tumultuous, trying, desperate years. The Book is supported by much research and liberal use of historical writings. The author takes one through the drama as if one were an eyewitness of the successes and then final heartrending losses of the gallant leaders of young Red Hugh O'Donnell and the noble seasoned patriarch, Hugh O'Neill, and of the many other participants in this heroic struggle.
