We wanted a tool kit for our new office that would have everything we need to hang pictures, assemble furniture and electronic items. This was the best deal for the price by far.

Positives
1. Great price with a more tools than any similarly priced tool kit

Negatives

1. The components are cheaply made but functional. This is an "occasional tool kit", not an everyday use one.

Shipping was fine as usual, but within the first day the hand vacuum failed. The telescoping magnetic wand fell apart. And the soldering iron just smokes out of every hole on top of not coming with a stand.

I had this tool kit for more than 6 years when it used to be called Curtis, it was for an occasional repair time and not as an everyday professional set. it did it job and saved me few times while in a Jam!!
The most liked item in the set was the Apple Torx tools available in it, you know the one with a hole in the center you can notice it in the front right corner of the pictured item.
otherwise the vacuum, used it once and that was it and i believe that was the weakest link.

I waited quite a while to get this, thought it would honestly be worth it. I got the package, opened it up, took the out the tool kit, and immediately my jaw dropped. The quality of each tool is more that sub par. The case design for one, is bad. You have to fight with the tools just to get them to fit. The vacuum it came with was not even the one that is pictured. It is a tiny white vacuum, that you would have more luck blowing thru a straw than using this item. The grips on each tool slides off after a days of use. The springs are brittle, at least on mine they were, and broke on the needle nose after about 5 uses. Overall, for the price of this item, do not buy. You would have more luck paying an extra 10-20$ more, and get more use. I regret buying this, and have a new set of tools on the way already.

this set is not worth the price...some of the tools like the driver and bits are nice quality for starting out or adding to a collection, the precision driver bits are what I expected (as pictured)the crimping tool looks like a wire cutter, the hammer is what I expected(good for tapping but not for good hammering), the soldering iron is one of the cheapest irons they could have put in this kit(just as I exected and was going to replace with a GOOD one)the brush looks just like in the picture( a 20cent paint brush)the tweezers and the magnettic pick-up tool are of the quality you find at sears, the 3 prong pick up tool is not a cheap one. it grabbed my finger really goooood)the flash light looks like a mag lite in the picture but is not(the lens pops off)! All in All, If you are getting a starter set to build a GOOD electronics tool set for a teen starting out or a 10 year old this is OK BUT I am glad I got it for only $20.00 as I used an apreciation gift I had! Oh, the vacuum is a piece of JUNK that is hype -a childs toy for a barbie collection! The vacuum does pick up some smaller particles but where does the dust collect but back onto the computer for there is no collection area unless the thing with the filter is the collection area. if this set goes down in price to 10.00 than it would be worth it. but until it does-DO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR TOOLS! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING IT FOR YOUR 10 YEAR OLD OR A TEEN JUST STARTING OUT!

The tool kit is pretty good for computer work, but the small vacuum will remove about nothing but then lightest of particles. The vacuum is very very weak, but comes with a nice little dust brush for manually moving dust around in a computer. I would like to see a more powerful vacuum, or no vacuum and and cheaper price.

I started a PC repair business and this was the best ratio of usable tools/affordability I could find. Some of the tools in the kit are useless. The vacuum doesn't work well at all. The soldering iron works but these days why would you need to solder anything that's plug n play in a PC?

Overall it's a decent kit but there are better options if you can afford them.

I love the tools and I use them a lot so don't get me wrong, but I'd rather have something better. The only thing keeping the case that holds the tools in together is a thin plastic piece that sticks to both parts of the case. It broke within 3 months. I fix computers almost every day. When a customer comes in, I am expected to fix it or tell them the bad news of how they need to replace this or that. Well the tools grips are easy to come off. Mainly from what I've seen are the cutting pliers, the needle-nose pliers, and both wire strippers. Also, the dusting brush is actually a cheap paint brush and the small vacuum can't blow that much of anything. It also comes with a soldering Iron which can't even be adjusted. The stencil scalpel knife that comes with it basically has no purpose for a computer set because even though people like me are called PC Doctors or Computer Doctors, we don't need a scalpel for a computer. Maybe they thought it was funny to add it in there, but I don't. All in all, not worth anyone's time or money.

Would have got 5 stars, but the Claw tool the flashlight and vacuum are really cheaply made. The flashlight actually came broken. Everything else works great.

Perfect condition and feels great while I am working. This Syba kit has enough tools to perform all the jobs I need to do.
