USB Card
This card is great. I was running out of USB slots and this card solved the problem. I now have plenty of places to plug in all my devices. Works perfectly!

beware some manufacturing issues
I recently bought 2 of these and noticed one of the ports did not recognize any USB device. After ruling out the cables and the device, I took a look at main IC on the board under a scope and could see a few of the pins (4 of them) were not soldered to the board. After a quick re-solder I was able to get it working but most probably don't have a lab and would just...

I recently bought 2 of these and noticed one of the ports did not recognize any USB device. Besides that, installation was pretty easy, just snaps in to the PCI slot, no driver or disk needed.

When i installed this card, my computer could not be shut down with the power switch anymore. The power switch became like a reset switch - if i held it, the machine wouldn't shut down, but would keep rebooting instead.This happened even if i removed all the other expansion cards, including my PCIE video card: if this USB card was in, the power switch became the reset switch. Once the card was removed, the power switch worked properly. This behavior happened even without the OS running - it started right at POST. My system board is Asus M3A, with a recent BIOS, and works great with an older PCI USB card, as long as this PCIE card isn't in it. Was looking forward to having it in my system, but something about it isn't compatible...

Bought a new HP to replace our old HP and found the need for more USB ports. This fit our needs without spending alot of cash. I needed the ports for mouse & keyboard & figured $20 or $60 they should function the same. Easy install & no extra software needed or is supplied with card. If you dont need a high end model this works well. Like all electronics it will either work or not at all.

I installed both cards work fine can not add internal power to cards could be defective or maybe computer but are doing what I needed
