This well-written book explores most of the fundamental and many of the advanced performance and tuning concepts and techniques needed to make ASE 11.0 perform. This work is a combination of personal style and technical excellence that is rare in this kind of book. It even covers material not covered in the Sybase ASE courses. This is a must-have for any serious DBA or database developer.
