This seems to be a well executed device. I purchased it so my older son could read in his room at bedtime without having the overhead light on. It is bright enough to read with with no eye strain, lasts several hours, and recharges completely by setting on the windowsill. Seems to recharge well even on cloudy days.

Lots of uses! I use it for cycling after dark - a couple of them to augment my headlight and taillight - provides nice side lighting. These are portable, bright and handy - and I LOVE that there are no batteries necessary.
