Excellent buy on these lamps. These are way over priced in retail/hardware stores. Just remember to install lamps using clean cotton gloves,or just pull a sock over your hand. Just don't touch bare-handed. Long lasting light....mine last for months at a time providing nighttime security.

After a couple of years, the original bulb in my desk lamp burnt out and I went out to several local stores to look for a replacement. After searching Home Depot, Wal Mart, True value etc, I finally found the exact replacement, but double the amazon price. I should have not wasted my time and gone to amazon first. Time and time again, Amazon seems to have just about everything I need at a decent price and I don't have to waste time and gas searching for it. This was no exception. Purchased the bulb, prime had it here in 2 days and presto the lamp is good as new.

This bulb was the first replacement for my favorite reading lamp. I was very pleased with the quality of light, and very relieved that it was the correct replacement for my lamp.

I ordered 2 of these at $4.99 each through Amazon affiliate. Now I see that Amazon is selling the same thing for $3.99. That's a great price for this branded lamp bulb.

This bulb works perfectly well but I found that the end electrodes were attached somewhat cheaply compared to the bulb it was replacing and one was ceramic end was broken in transit. Despite my worries that the bulb might fail at that point it was been working fine for several months. I would certainly purchase a Sylvania lamp again when my current one burns out.

I received them sooner than I expected and they were received in very good packaging. So far the bulbs work great. Very satisfied.

My bathroom has four of these bulbs located above a large mirror. I bought this bulb as a replacement and it perfectly blends in with the bulbs already there. The light is yellow as one would expect from this type of bulb. It dims in harmony with the other bulbs. It is very bright like any other bulb of this type should be. And as this type of bulb goes, it is extremely hot and power-inefficient. I can feel the heat on my face when I stand in front of my bathroom mirror.

If I knew of an effective LED or CFL replacement bulb in this form factor, I would throw this bulb in the trash. Until that day comes, I would order this bulb again.

Great bulb. Works as a bulb should: sheds light, is bright, consumes massive electricity.
I would definitely purchase this product if:
A: This one reaches the end of it's life.
B: I need to consume more product.
C: I want something delivered to me using massive amounts of transportation with fossils fuels and human effort.
