We bought this for my Mom early in 2003 during her stay in a convalescent hospital. When she eventually went home, she "donated" the television to our guest room. We installed it in an armoire where it was used extensively by guests until June of this year. Now it sits happily in our home office/exercise room where it keeps me company during my daily workout. The picture is great and the VCR hasn't missed a beat. (I'm just hoping that the TV/DVD combo I just purchased as a replacement in the guest room works as well!)

It worked great when we first bought it, but the VCR broke. It can no longer play tapes, but the TV still works fine. Also, the entenna was very cheap, and that broke, too. Very thin. I had to go buy a new one.

Well worth the price. Works as advertised. Love the instant on/off feature. If you are looking for a cheap solution to portable tv and vcr use, this is it.

My husband and I bought this gift for my Mom who is in her 90s. She loves the fact she can watch her DVDs and VHS tapes all in one compact TV. It's too bad they are phasing these TVs out. Thank you Amazon.com for listing this great product on your site! You were a lifesaver!

This a great little set! We put it in our kitchen and my wife uses it every day! Nice picture using a feed from Dish Network and the VCR really comes in handy for reviewing her company VHS product updates. The perfect size too. Oh, and the price was very nice as well!

own it for 5 years now great picture the colors are bright and clear and look nice and good sound,it had good reception before i put it on satellite yes the vcr was ok when it work it quite 5 months after having it but never seen a tv/vcr combo were the vcr didn't break fast from any brand so i am happy and glade i bought it

My aunt had this TV/VCR combo since '05 or '06, and when my uncle bought a new antenna 2 years ago he bought a brand new tv too, so my aunt gave me this one and i haven't had a problem since i recieved it so i guess the other reviewers got lemons..?


i have not connected it to our cable yet, but the VCR still plays fine(i prefer VHS anyways as i can skip ads i've seen hundreds of times and go straight to the movie unlike alot of dvds) plus i've hooked-up and used Xbox(original), Playstation(original), Wii, Snes, and Gamecube and the picture and sound is perfect on all. This is not a HDTV so even if you buy one new or used with the original antenna you will still need to have/get cable, dish, or a converter box to recieve any television signals as the antenna wont work because the signals it would pick-up are no-longer broadcasted.

Great little TV, but the VCR part of this combo started kicking the VCR tapes out and turning the TV off automatically within 9 months of purchasing the unit.
