A lot of bang for the buck!
WE purchased this item when our VCR went out. We decided instead of having a VCR and a DVD player hooked up with all the wires running to the TV just to get one unit with everything. It has been great. Great picture, DVD plays perfectly and the VCR is nice to have for all the VHS tapes we still own. Makes everything look so much cleaner in the family room. I...

TV and VCR sound
The sound from the TV and VCR uses the small and not too good speakers. The sound is tinny and no way to adjust. Also no output jacks to feed it to another amp. The DVD sound can be fed to a home theater system and is very good. Why can't they also feed the TV/VCR sound???? The customer service is not good. WE purchased this item when our VCR went out. We decided instead of having a VCR and a DVD player hooked up with all the wires running to the TV just to get one unit with everything. It has been great. Great picture, DVD plays perfectly and the VCR is nice to have for all the VHS tapes we still own. Makes everything look so much cleaner in the family room. I love this TV. I received this TV as a christmas gift in 2004 and have been incredibly happy. I just popped it out of the box hooked my cable into the back and plugged it in (super easy). This tv has really cool functions and was easy to connect to my bose audio system. The VCR and DVD all in one option is just great and I love how it even plays Realplayer movies and MP3's. Also, I've never found a DVD, even homemade DVD's that wouldn't play in this player. I cant say enough about the color and clarity of picture, (much better than my Sony WEGA) and just incredible sound with all sound options (TruSurround, 5.1, Samart Audio etc). For those of you concerned about audio jacks this TV is loaded front and back including 1 set of RCA out for your Audio Sustem and 2 sets of input in the back and one in the front as well for a total of 3 sets of inbound jacks. Also the remote is friendy to use and very straight forward.
I waited to write this review because I wanted to take time to really put this set through its paces. I'm so glad I got this one. Take my word for it this is a really great TV and incredible value. Also, being an apartment dweller this TV was easy to pack and move and set up when I moved to my new place. HANDS DOWN A WINNER :)!

Since I was fortunate enough to have bought it as a retailer that will accept returns with no hassle I probably will do just that.
