5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sound and Picture
I have this hooked up to my 32"Pure Flat Sony and it gives great picture and color. Crisp detail, looks similiar to a Phillips DVD I saw at another store. ...P>I love it and it fits into my component rack easily, slim, sharp design.

3.0 out of 5 stars Deficient & quirky...
This must be the only unit on the market that doesn't play VCDs! :(

Also, if you want to play a CD or MP3 starting at track 6, you have to actually start playing the disk first; only then can you push the >>> button to get to track 6. Kinda odd.

Note that Sylvania is made by Funai, which may explain its quirkiness.
