I received this TV/VCR combo as a gift right before our family trip that included a long car ride. I set it up and we watched some new videos for 4 days before it broke (sound but no picture). Amazon was great, they shipped out another one in 2 days, even before we returned the defect, and we got motoring. The brand new replacement broke 4 hours into our ride, same exact problem. There won't be a third try--this item's a LEMON! I would not recommend it at any price.

Just bought this and have used it about a week now. Works well with decent sound and picture quality both in the house and inside the van. One minor annoyance is we keep getting prompted to reset programmed channels. We have to turn power off and back on a second time to start watching tapes. Looks like programmed channels are lost every time you unplug the box or shut off the power supply. Stupid design for something that is specifically intended for portable use. Overall, though, I'm still satisfied since price was a good deal at $94. With VCR's getting hard to find and a large tape collection, I'd say this is a good deal to get us by until DVD recorders and LCD screens become more practical and affordable.

I couldn't have asked for a better product. The reception is wonderful and lives up to more than I expected from an AC/DC portable TV. We purchased it after all of the power outages with Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne in Florida. The product is so great, we've made room for it in the kitchen on a permanent basis. It deserves all of 5 stars!!!!

My mom told me the t.v. was to loud and I could'nt watch the t.v. no more, so I hate it.
