Then you will feel like a genius. These lights are so handy for projects such as automotive repair from stereo to bodywork. I like them for lighting an area that I am painting when the ambiant light is less than desirable. Only after you have them and use them can you appreciate the availability of light despite the limitations of AC outlets and flashlights. I keep one in my fannypack when camping also.

For such a small, compact, light-weight thing, it lets loose a lot of light. I wish I needed more so I could buy the multi-colored ones! I got the black ones before I realized they came in colors. They make a great night light until the kids fall asleep, in a tent, on my motorcyle, or in my car for emergencies . . . tons of uses! And finally, one that you can replace the batteries instead of throwing it away when it burns out.

works great. Using in kitchen under cabinets for "staging". Best solution without spending $100's for AC powered cabinet lighting.

I carried it in my Carry On bag on a trip and found it on when I opened the bag. It needs an OFF button other wise works great.

When I got this to put in the closet, I was very pleased: the light was bright, easy to use and it was easy to stick to the wall.

However, the brightness does not last! You have to change the batteries every couple of months, even if using alkalines, to get a bright light. The color of the LEDs is a little off, too.

So I could only recommend this as an emergency light or somewhere where you won't use it very often.

And under no circumstances forget to turn it out and leave it burning overnight!

the lights are great. but the adhesive on the back dosen't work well at all. That's the only thing that needs to change. a stronger adhesive.
