Workes as shown BUT will only record on some DVD-r and DVD-RW 1-2X disks (like Sony DVD-RW 1-2X), not faster (hard to find these lower speeds). After a hardware update it now will record on some DVD-r 8X disks (like TDK DVD-R video 8X).
