Sylvania Under Counter 9" Led Linkable Strip Light White

It was exactly what I wanted. It accepts 110VAC directly into the fixture and does not use a power adapter as some others do (which don't easily work if you are replacing a flourescent fixture that has 110VAC directly coming to it). The direct power also means that multiple fixturres can easily be 'daisy chained' together for a long under cabinet run.

The LED light is closer to natural daylight than incedescent, thus making the light slighty blue tinted. This is not as warm as normal bulbs but I found it to be quite aceptable. The light output is a bit dimmer than I had hoped for, but it seems adequate for countertop use. The light is more focused downward and does not spread as much as a flourscent fixture will, thus you should test the mounting position carefully before making the final cabinet attachment.

Also, the bottom of the LED bulbs is a bit lower than the compact flourscent fixture this replaced, thus a short person can see the bulbs now, when they didn't before, but since the light is mainly projected down (see above focus comment) the visability is not a problem.

Purchased the strip light 2 months back. Set it up on a timer to illuminate two times a day. It stopped working after approx. 8 weeks. Money wasted.

I bought this light strip to place on my computer desk under a ledge just over my keyboard so that I could see function keys, etc, at night. My computer had been in a dark hole because my back blocks light in the room. It would have done the trick but five minutes after I had it on, it burned out. It would not come back on. This may just be a fluke but my experience was that I had to throw it away. I am, therefore, giving it one star. The system would not let me give it no stars. I did not waste more of my time on sending it back as return postage and the time to box it up and go to the post office just weren't worth is. A waste of money for me.

These LEDs aren't lasting anywhere remotely close to how long LEDs are supposed to last. Half have burned out, and the other half have gone extremely dim,

I bought one of these to try out and ended up ordering two more. The first I placed in the corner of our counter over the coffee pot and it's just about right for an accent light. It does have a slight blue hue to it but as a night / early morning light it works great.

It is about the same as a 15watt incandescent light but uses one watt.

The only problem I've had is that one out of two units in my second order did not work (when plugged into another light or into the wall. I have returned it (on amazons tab) for a refund and ordered another (price plus shipping). They won't let me do an exchange because the lamp is sold by a secondary seller.

All in all a good lamp! Not perfect but consider the price and the power consumption.

While I have yet to witness failure of this shorter version, I have had many of the 21" long models (SL72076) fail. I am guessing that these lights are poorly designed, failure being due to overheating or exposure to heat from another source. The ones that failed were installed over my coffee maker or were left on all day long.

I rate this item with zero stars, but was forced to give it one star to have my review saved.

This light works okay and everything, it is just not as strong/bright as we had hoped. But it is okay.

Provides good under-counter light. I really like that the package includes everything I needed - the light itself, a cord to connect to another lights, screws, mounting clips, and even drywall anchors for screwing into drywall. The lights can be easily strung together so that just one plugin is used for as many lights as needed. I like the energy-savings of using LED light.

These are extremely well built and easy to use. An OK amount of light for the price. We were looking for more light for use in an industrial application, and had to go with something many times more expensive than this to get it. For kitchen undercabinet applications, this woudl be a great product, which is probably the true intention for it.

Please DON'T waste your $$ this only work for one day. I got it put it up it work the next day I went to turn it on and nothing.
