I have read all of Sylvia's books and I am a study group coordinator with Sylvia's Journey of the Soul study program. The study books we use go into more detail as a rule than the over the counter books, but not with this one. Sylvia has continued to compile research on a subject that interests many and is now sharing this with everyone.
Sylvia uses her typical style that so many love, to write a book that is easy to understand and filled with beautiful illustrations by Christina Simonds.
My favorite part is a chart of Angels. I have book marked this for quick reference to the phylum. The chart also has information such as what that phylum of Angels purpose and function is. I don't want to give anymore away as to the chart, because I enjoyed reading it myself for the first time.

Thank You Sylvia for all the time and research you have done to put together this beautiful book!

I have always felt there were angels among we "earth-dwellers" and this book among countless others already written would prove this. Sylvia describes the various "levels" of angels, pointing out that no "group" is really "better" than any other, just that each level has their own purpose. Sylvia also includes letters she has received from people describing their "angel experiences." After reading them, I now realize more than ever that indeed I also have had a handful of these experiences. The book's first chapter even features an "Angel Chart" describing each type of angel. Subsequent chapters describe the different types of angels, and there's even a "frequently asked questions" chapter near the book's end. Another nice touch are the meditations at the end of each chapter, everything from healing, protection, dealing with troubled times to asking angels to surround you.

There are those who don't believe in angels, which is fine. But when you see angels of some kind or another in all walks of life, you have to believe that somehow they are with us. This book affirms that angels are among us.

wow! this is really a good read. sylvia really shows her true colors with this book. the book is really well written. ms.browne has a lot of useful informatin that is hard to find. though she has many ideas about angels that i disagree upon, i still think this book was really interesting. at the end of each chapter sylvia wrote either a prayer, a meditation, or both that will get you closer to your angels. honestly i have read many books on angels and new age ideas. this book is one of the best.

I've been certified by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., who is commonly known as the "Angel Lady". However, I really enjoyed studying Sylvia Browne's works and I was curious to read about her take on the Angels, their roles and purpose and what her perspective is.

The first aspect of this book that grabbed my attention is the incredible, amazing artwork pictured throughout the book. I cannot put into words how much these drawings speak to my heart. The artwork is produced by Christina Simmonds, and it is worth just picking up the book to see what she has created.

It was interesting reading Sylvia's experiences with Angels; I feel it provided for me as an Angel Card Reader a more well rounded background. She mentions in her book that an Angel rarely visits alone; when we ask for angelic assistance, we are surrounded by MANY angels. (I like that!) She also stresses the Angel's unconditional love for us and their incapacity to judge us as humans. I'm sure I've read this in other books, but for some reason I really got it this time!

Sylvia goes into great detail about the Ten Phyla of Angels, or ten levels of Angels, and their specialities. The book includes meditations to connect with these different levels. I found that there was so much information that I'll need to reread it over to really take it all in. The FAQ section was extremely fun because it has so many common questions answered. There's also a fun chapter in the back that includes stories of every day people interacting with the angels. I really like it when those stories are included, because it affirms that we can really connect with angels:)

Enjoy this special book with Sylvia Browne's perspective. She has so much wisdom to offer!

This book is one of Ms. Browne's best. Throughout her impressive writing career, she has only touched on Angels a little. Her Book of Angels goes in to the types of Angels we have not only around us, but at our beck-and-call, we just need ask. This book is well worth the money, and good for a read in bed. Bottom Line: A great book, and a must have for ANY believer in God, or Angels

Everything about Sylvia Browne's "Book of Angels" is uplifting and supportive to your emotional psyche. In it, she charts the ten different phyla, or levels of the angelic realm. Explaining how each has their own specific purpose. However, to take comfort in knowing the right ones always show up to assist your needs, regardless if you know which ones to call on or not! I've read everything by Doreen Virtue PhD, whom I enjoy immensely, but Sylvia's book on angels seemed to fill in the gaps of angel information and provide answers to questions I have always pondered.
A "soul-y" satisfying read!
Gorgeous illustrations by Christina Simonds, along with inspirational scripture from the Bible, and Koran beginning each chapter. The book completes with a most common " Question and Answer" section and finishes up with truely inspiring angel stories sent in from her thousands of readers over the years.

We all want to believe in Angels. And there is a huge interest in this topic as of late. I have a huge interest in it. I'm not so sure I know yet if they exist or not. If there are any angels out there I wish you would reveal yourself to me, appear to me in an apparition, and talk to me, reassure me, and let me know it's going to be ok. I've yet to see it. But this book is for people like me who are curious. You don't have to believe to have an interest. I hope someday I believe. Another book I would like to recommend is called, The Little Guide To Happiness. It's a nice guide to get if you value smiling.

I bought this book looking for experiences that mirrored one that I had a few years ago. I thoughly enjoyed reading about angel experiences that other people have had. However; I found some of sylvia's explanations and theories a little hard to swallow. Thankfully this in no way dimmed my enjoyment of the book, after all everyone is entitled to thier own beliefs. Overall I found this book a positive and joyful read.

I found great emotional healing in this book. Although this book does lack the practicality of the author's other books, it does bring meaning, love and understanding to life in a way that can help all of us move on after huge emotional loss. This book has a very good quality to it. I wholly recommend it to anyone who needs positive influence.

I picked up Ms. Browne's book when I was Teacher Assistant for a class on the film version of "Angels in America" at my church; never imaging what a I would gain by using Sylvia's book as a personal, supplemental text. Sylvia again gives inspiring spiritual wisdom is her straightforward understandable, enjoyable style. I never realized the different Phyla of Angels, and how each group of angels has a different purpose, function and different wing tips to symbolize their mission. Artist Christina Simonds' beautiful illustrations alone are worth the cost of the book. I think this book would inspire the most devout non-believer.
