5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific single with three unreleased b-sides, March 1, 2002
This review is from: Sylvie (Audio CD)
If you were not able to get your hands on the bonus CD "Fairfax High" that accompanied "Good Humor," take heart. Three of the album's 11 tracks are present as B-sides on this single, and they are some of the best tracks from Fairfax High. I particularly loved the sweet melancholy of Afraid To Go Home and the hypnotic flute in Hill Street Connection.

An amazing single, well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Saint Etienne - Sylvie, February 28, 2011
This review is from: Sylvie (Audio CD)
On the EP side of their SYLVIE singles, Saint Etienne take it slow and romantic with "Afraid to Go Home" and more peppy with "Zipcode." These tracks have charm to spare, and even if they're not as accomplished as the album tracks. The instrumental "Hill Street Connection" has hints of funk and rare groove overlaid with that unmistakable Saint Etienne sunshine.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great song!, June 14, 2001

This review is from: Sylvie (Audio CD)
I've read reviews of this single that claim that the song gets dull fast. Although I agree that other songs from Good Humor deserved to be singles before this song, I've listened to it many times and I've enjoyed it everytime. This song rates five stars, but I'd still suggest that you buy the Good Humor album instead.
