The S107 Heli Is great on it's own. 1 problem, the 150Mah battery that comes with it has a life spam of about 3 months of average play time. The longer you play, the shorter you fly time gets. So I got the 240Mah battery. Now it takes about 1.5 hours to charge ang you have to let the battery cool down first before you recharge but the bennies are worth it. I'm getting powerful take offs and great response in flight. And I'm now getting 18 to 25 mins of fly time !!!!! It's great. Now the battery is bigger and heavier. So you have to take out the nose weight and you have to be careful when you put the nose back on, it gets a little tight. And dont order the heat shrink tube with the battery. You can't use them anyway, they are to small diameter and after you solder in the new battery they won't slide over the joint. There is a wire size difference. Enjoy, I know I am

My S107 was out of commission for some time due to a bad battery, so I finally got around to ordering this as a upgrade/replacement. I didn't bother splicing into the existing battery wires, I just removed everything and soldered the new battery directly to the circuit board. Remember to give your S107 sufficient time for cool down after flights/charging. I usually wait about 10 min before charging after a flight and 10 min after a fresh charge. This battery is big, but I managed to get it installed without any trimming. I also removed the nose weight and eliminated the LEDs to improve flight time. Gets about 12-14 minutes in the air. Great product for the price!

I removed the original battery and soldered this one in place with only marginal difficulty due to the short wires inside the helicopter. Perhaps foolishly, I heated the shrink tubing (included) prior to testing only to find that it would not charge with the charger supplied with the helicopter. The LEDs would flash on the helicopter but the charger light never went out and the helicopter didn't have enough power to spin the rotor let alone tack off. The seller indicated other customers had experienced issues and recommended I buy a charger that cost more than the helicopter to solve the issue. After removing this battery and reconnecting the original to confirm it worked, I returned the battery for a refund.

Works great. The 240mAh battery gave me 3-4 more minutes of flying time over the stock 150mAh battery.
Once the stock battery is toast, it's time to upgrade to the higher mAh battery. Higher milli-Amp-hours = longer flying time.
Fits under the S107 canopy just fine. Pitch battery at a slight angle on the heli's nose to match inside angle of canopy.
Remember this: Never over-discharge your lipo batteries. Doing so will permanently damage them. You never want the voltage on the battery to go below 3.7v.
Once the heli will not accelerate upwards on throttle, it's time to shut it off and let it cool down for 15 minutes. Then charge it until full. Appr 45mins through computer usb port. Red light in charger cable will be ON once fully charged. Make sure heli is "off" during charging. Wait another 10 minutes after it's fully charged for battery to cool down again. Now it's time to fly!

This product is all it said it was and contrary to previous reviews, the shrink tube was the right size. The battery is bigger than I expected or I would have given it 5 stars.

The copter flies longer and better than the original. Worth every penny on the upgrade, and it actually works now which it didn't when the old battery was dead.

I used to have a Syma 107 until I installed this battery. Rule #1: bigger battery = harder crashes. Rule#2: flying a Syma 107 with a larger battery, in a CAMPER, will give you an inventory of spare parts.

When I got this, it did not come with the heat shrink tubing like it said it would. I contacted the company and the sent me the tubing. When I installed it, the battery is just too heavy for the helicopter and I cannot get it higher the 1 foot off the ground.
