I have been searching for a book like this for almost a year. This is the most complete guide to Celtic symbols and their meanings. I would recomend having some basic knowledge of Celtic history to fully understand some of the descriptions.

This book is not a thick one so it might go unnoticed. It is, indeed, a real mine of information that unveil the Celtic traditions. Each symbol is fully explained and a little excerpt of some legend having to do with it is provided. Here comes the surprise: many Celtic symbols are still used and still have their primitive meaning. It's also interesting to see how some other symbols have fully migrated from a culture to another one without loosing their inner meaning.
This is a very useful book to read and understand the sense of Celtic culture. |
