In Symbols Of The Soul: Discovering Your Karma Through Astrology, Gina Lake provides the reader with an in-depth interpretation of the Moon's nodes (which describe our life purpose and roadblocks to fulfilling our destiny); interprets Saturn in the houses and signs (which describes our fears, weaknesses, and past-life issues); delineates the 12th House and reading karmic debts in the astrological charts (with examples illustrating how karma works in our lives); and a step-by-step approach to finding chart themes and synthesizing the information. Symbols Of The Soul is superbly informative and recommended reading for students of astrology and those seeking resources of metaphysical insight within themselves and in behalf of others.

I truly wished this book had not ended, as I enjoyed every word of it and sadly, it seems to be the only astrology book the author has written. It discusees how to employ the combination of good old fashioned study of astrology and then allowing your intuition to guide you in interpretation. That, to me, is the best of both! We study and learn the basics and then allow our innate knowledge and intuition take the interpretation to the next level. Gina Lake teaches how to begin to work in that manner.

If you are a devotee, or just interested in karmic astrology, then add this book to your library. I have read this book over and over again and consider it one of my backbone books in my ongoing studies of karmic astrology. The writing style is easy to read, her organization of the chapters is excellent. It is a good read, thought provoking and makes you THINK!

I enjoyed it immensely and truly hope she writes another astrology book some day.

Gina Lake's Symbols Of The Soul provides a key to astrology and karma, providing insights on birth charts, signs, and how to interpret astrology readings.

This book was full of half assertions and possiblities. If you don't have a way to accurately and throughly explain how to do a task definitively then I don't really see the purpose.

The book is about how you can probably find karmic themes in a chart. She talks about karmic lessons and karmic debts (numerology concepts if you are familiar) but fails majorly in teaching definitbe ways to assess for their presence. In sum, a waste of money and time. Some of the other "concepts" could be possible but then again maybe not. LOL

I understand why Llewellyn doesn't publish this anymore. The hard copies got sent back for a refund. I would love to be nice about it, and the nicest thing that I can say is that the author should do LOTS of charts, organize her thoughts and then write.

I learned to buy the hard copy so that if it's terrible it can get sent back! LOL
