This review is from: Signs and Symbols llustrated and Explained in a Course of Twelve Lectures on Freemasonry (Paperback)
These 12 lectures are extremely helpful to the Mason seeking more light than is generally provided from the standard degree lectures. Symbolism is duscussed from the point of view of its origins, different applications, and in depth in the manner that you generally don't get anywhere else. I found it very illuminating and stimulating in that it provoked thoughts and ideas about how to stir the passions of fellow Masons who may have cooled within their lodge and become disinterested with Masonry. It's worth it, it's cheap, and the lectures aren't long. Give it a go. At the least you'll come away with a different perspective on the symbolism of Masonry and more background than the average Mason gets in a lifetime.
