Super neo-clasical discoveries, June 2, 2011

I picked up 4 Supraphon discs of Schulhoff's constantly interesting music (Symphonies, Piano Concerti and solo piano) when on holiday in Prague in 1997. Finally I post a review (of sorts)!
This neo-classical perpetual motion music is superbly played and fantastically enjoyable, in a proto-Communist sort of way (don't let that put you off!).
Melodic, inventive, and somewhat paranoid, these Symphonies were a revlation - buy them if you can find them
