I wrote a review of the score of the 9th which is also printed by Dover. The gist is that the score is too small to read easily, especially with a score as thick as the 3rd of Mahler. I found another score of this symphony in my collection and it is much larger. I think it cost me $20 and is worth every cent; study scores are fine if you HAVE to save money, but I will always believe that a score you can read easily is one that will untimately serve you best.
