This review is from: Symphony No. 9 in D minor/I. Andante comodo (MP3 Download)
There are a number of great recordings of Mahler's ninth symphony, and this is one of them. I slightly prefer Klemperer's recording because I like my Mahler on the slow side, but that's purely a matter of personal preference. It's an early Columbia stereo recording, which is to say not quite as good as the great EMI, RCA, and Decca efforts, but still very much enjoyable.
