This is a great game, and lots of fun.

It's a fairly simple game that doesn't take an overly long time (it's just long enough that you will want to play once or twice more).

We had a lot of laughs, saw people stutter and say the silliest things while under pressure, and had good, wholesome fun.

Sync Up! is such a simple concept, and that's what makes it so brilliant. When I first played this game, I thought to myself, "What took so long for someone to think of a game like this?!?". I'm sure each one of us could think of a time when we said the same thing at the same time as someone else. It's almost always hilarious when it happens or is at least kind funny! Sync Up! takes all those moments and puts them in game form. I've played this game a bunch of times and each time I play it with someone new, they ask if they can borrow it or go out and buy their own.

All that to say... I HIGHLY recommend this game!

This is a fun game that plays on the familiar nature of saying "Jinx you own me a Coke" when two people say the same thing at the same time, however in this game you WANT to do that!

Each card has four questions where you and your Sync Up partner try to answer with the same thing at the same time, but there is no one right or wrong answer to each question making for a fun outcome when trying to be in Sync. For each correct Sync Up, you each move two spaces on the board. The game is played in a round robbin manner where you are trying to Sync Up with a new partner each time, which makes for a playful and fun way to get to know each other. Rather than traditionally waiting for your their own turn all other players not involved in trying to Sync Up are secretly betting on how many times each pair of partners will be successful in their Syn Ups, and if correct they move on the board at the end of the turn as well.

This game was lots of fun and produced lots of laughter as we each were dumbfounded at one anothers answers or attempts to being in sync! Plays fast enough and comes with enough content that the game can be played many times without repeating questions. Best for groups of 4-6, but could be played without the board and just pass the cards around in a much larger group, or even just adding more game pieces from the house to the game.

As a big fan of party board games, I can't believe this game isn't as popular as it should be. I played this with a group of 6 and we had a lot of fun!

The purpose of the game is in its name. Let's say 2 players are chosen to play together in this round, and a 3rd person picks up a card and narrates it to the other 2 players. The narrator reads the category on the card out loud (e.g. Europe), so that the 2 players can start thinking of any words they know about Europe. If the main category on the card was Europe, the sub-categories on that card might be...

"A famous tourist spot..."
"A movie that takes place there..."
"A popular food item..."
"A country..."

The narrator will read each sub-category out loud, one by one, and after each sub-category is read, the 2 players must shout out a word at the same time within seconds. Whenever the players yell out the same answer, they each get 1 point. I thought people in our group would guess the same word too often, or perhaps very rarely guess the same word, but actually, there was a fair number of times when either incident happened.

There are no permanent partners, so you will be paired with a different player in each round. You may be surprised to find that the people most unlike you in the game might sync up with you on the most answers. And that's part of the game's charm. We had a lot of laughs, saw people stutter and say the silliest things while under pressure, and had good, wholesome fun.

It can be played again and again, because there are so many cards in the deck, and so many different combinations of people that can play each card together. There are blank cards, too, so you can make your own category and sub-category.

this is such a fun game! and my family is kinda party game snobby. we had a lot of people playing, and we realized that it was too many people because it took so long to go around the circle before it was your turn again. of course, I guess that's why they have player limits to games, right? still, totally playable by more than the recommended limit. we got this game for Christmas and played it several times over the holiday break, and we laughed a lot every time. definitely recommend!

We always play this whenever our group consists of six or less. It's great for connecting with one another as it pairs each player with one another on a rotation and the natural tendency is to have direct eye contact as you play. We've had some really good laughs with this one and it's great for all ages as you can skip over cards that have subjects that younger players may not be familiar with.

Some friends introduced my wife and I to this game and we love it. Great both as an icebreaker game when meeting new people, and as a game for when everyone is hanging out having some drinks. We are in our twenties and have played it with friends, parents, and people of all ages, everyone has a great time.
