Contacted today by company rep.,

DVM Pharmaceuticals is the name associated with SynoviG3. DVM was once located in Miami, FL, but was purchased by IVX Animal Health in St. Joseph, MO. Subsequently, Teva Animal Health, Inc.(also in St. Joseph, MO), purchased IVX Animal Health. Teva Animal Health, Inc, is a subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceuticals, a giant, generic pharmaceutical company headquartered in Israel. I sent an email to Teva Animal Health last week and one of their reps contacted me by phone today. She advised that the company still plans to produce the SynoviG3 products it has in the past, but doesn't know what the start date will be. There has been a problem with the manufacturing side (she didn't know the details) and the company is deligently working to resolve the problem. Whenever their production resumes, I will be one of their first customers. I have used Synovi G3 for over two years on my miniature dachshund, Abby, and it has been practically a miracle drug for her. Two years ago, she could hardly walk or turn her head, definitely could not run or jump. Our local vet tried several types of treatment/medication, but none improved her situation. Then by luck, my wife talked to someone at work who had the same situation with their dachshund, and they recommended SynoviG3. Within two weeks, we could see a miraculous change in Abby!!!!.........she was almost back to her nomal self; within a month, she was back to her normal self, and has had no relapse since. Thank you SynoviG3.

Teva Animal Health Closed By FDA,

This review is from: Synovi G3 Chewable Tablets (180 Tablets) - NEW DOSAGE SIZE (Misc.)
Any company that gets to this point isn't worth the risk, in my opinion, no matter what has changed or been claimed by them. From the FDA website, issued July 31st, 2009
FDA Takes Action Against Teva Animal Health Inc. Company fails to adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a consent decree of permanent injunction filed today, that prohibits Teva Animal Health Inc., its president, and two principals from its parent company, from manufacturing and distributing adulterated veterinary drugs. The injunction, once entered by the court, will prevent the defendants from manufacturing and distributing veterinary drugs until they achieve compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and obtain FDA approval. "Good manufacturing practice standards are the backbone of product quality and the instrument on which the FDA relies most heavily for assurance that veterinary drug products are safe and effective," said Bernadette Dunham, D.V.M., Ph.D., director of the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine. During inspections between 2007 and 2009, the FDA found significant cGMP violations at Teva Animal Health's facilities, located in St. Joseph, Mo. Under the terms of the consent decree, Teva Animal Health cannot resume manufacturing and distributing veterinary drugs until adequate methods, facilities, and controls are established and an independent expert inspects the facilities and procedures and certifies that they comply with cGMP. The FDA also will also inspect Teva Animal Health's facilities as needed before authorizing the company to resume operations. If, after resuming operations, the defendants fail to comply with any provision of the consent decree, cGMP, or the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the FDA may order the company to stop manufacturing and distributing veterinary drugs, recall the products, or take other corrective actions. "The FDA will not tolerate the manufacture and distribution of adulterated animal drugs," said Michael Chappell, the FDA's acting associate commissioner for regulatory affairs. "Veterinarians and pet owners can be assured that the FDA will investigate and take regulatory actions against companies that produce animal drugs under conditions and controls that are inadequate to assure their safety and quality." In the event of future violations, the consent decree also subjects Teva Animal Health to payments of $20,000 for each day the defendants fail to comply with any provision of the decree and an additional $25,000 for each shipment of veterinary drugs in violation of the decree, up to $7.5 million per year.

I have found this product to be one of the best on the market. What I have been told is that the product is good but the manufacturer, DVM, was moving to a larger facility. This triggered an inspection and a problem was found with the new facility so the company was not allowed to operate out of that facility.

BEWARE!!! I have used Entireleypets several times, and each time the supplements I ordered arrived at almost the expiration date of the product. I just received two new bottles of Synovi G3 supplements and they expire in three days! This is why their rates are so good, they are selling OLD and expired products. Should be illegal if it's not. Customer Service and Sales did nothing to address my direct questions on the outdated products and simply offered the typical return process. This means to me that they do NOT have products with a typical year+ expiration term as they should.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET'S HEALTH TO THIS COMPANY - SHOP ELSEWHERE!

I've given Synovi to my dog for several years after he started having hip problems. The vet was talking about the possibility of doing a hip surgery if the Synovi didn't correct his problem. Synovi is a great product that works. Since my dog has been on Synovi he no longer limps and is able to play like a puppy again.

I purchased this product because MSM Synovi is on hold or not being produced any longer. My 10-year old dog has been taking it since her knee surgery (about 5 years ago) and it has made a huge difference in her ability to run and play. Synovi G3 is a great substitute. I can't tell any difference.

Synovi G3,
This review is from: Synovi G3 Chewable Tablets (180 Tablets) - NEW DOSAGE SIZE (Misc.)
Incredible results in just 4 weeks. My dog is now able to climb stairs, go on walks 2-4 times daily and in general have more movement. This is in comparison to other joint relief products recommended by my vet. I no longer pay for the more expensive MSM products and use thes tablets instead which are more reasonably priced as well. No apparent side effects except an increased water intake.
In fairness, after a couple of weeks, my dog started using anti-imflammatory meds for her arthritis. However, we did notice an improvement before the rimadyl. EDK one happy dog owner

Unfortunately, my Cavalier King Charles spaniel was diagnosed when he was just over a year old with quite serious hip dysplasia. He was dragging his leg and squatted to urinate. We started him on this medicine daily and it has worked wonders for him! Now, it is three years later and he runs, lifts his leg, and seems to have no evidence of his hip dysplasia. (I know he has it-- I saw the X-rays.) I recommend this product to anyone whose dog needs some help with lubricating joints.

I have been buying Synovi (both the soft chews and chewable tablets) for my Goldendoodle for several years. This product has made all the difference for her. I kept receiving offers to try the Joint Max products (which are, admittedly, a bit cheaper), so I gave them a try. My dog had a major relapse~difficulty walking, pain, etc...! As soon as I switched her back to the Synovi chewable tablets, she felt much better and was back to her old self. The Synovi products are worth every penny!

Unsafe to feed your pet,
This review is from: Synovi G3 Chewable Tablets (180 Tablets) - NEW DOSAGE SIZE (Misc.)
Manufacturer FDA inspection so the manufacturer was forced to stop production. It's not safe to feed to your pets. I ordered the same brand similar product but was only informed after the sale why it was discontinued.
