Synovi G3 Chewable Tablets (240 Tablets) - NEW DOSAGE SIZE

Upon receipt of the product, I was extremely disappointed to find that the tablets in the 180 count bottle were half the dose of the tablets contained in the 120 count bottle. Felt deceived.

I have a 3 year old border collie with severe hip displacia. I was giving her over the counter Glucosamine/Chondroitin daily but saw very little improvement. She could hardly get up from a prone position and I had to give her baby aspirin every night so she could get some rest. We were to the point of considering surgery when our vet recommended we give Synovi G3 a try. Because its so expensive, I was reluctant to try it. But, I decided it would be worth it if we could avoid going through the surgery.

I must say it took about 2 months before I actually noticed a difference. I was really starting to think this stuff was just a scam. But then, and it seemed like it was overnight, one day she stopped crying when she got up and she actually wanted to go outside and play. I took a ball out and she ran around for a few minutes like she was a puppy again. It's now been about 8 months and you'd never know she has hip displacia. She's lost about 5 pounds (which she really needed), is slim and trim and spends a great deal of her day outside playing.

I know this stuff seems expensive, but it really is worth every penny. My only recommendation would be that you give your dog the initial dose for the full 6 weeks and don't try to cut it short by only going 4 weeks. I tried to save some money by doing the start-up dosage for only 4 weeks. Now that I see how much it is helping her, I wish I had gone for the 6 weeks instead. I think maybe she would have gotten better faster if I had.

The picture of the bottle shown looks like the bottle that has twice the dosage of Glucosamine. The bottle with half the dosage says the following in the top left hand corner "New dosage size!". The seller shows the bottle without this message leading you to believe it's the higher dosage. Very disappointed when I opened the package and saw that it was half of my dog's usual dosage.

We've had our pooch on G3 for about a year now. He was born with severe hip dysplasia, and is now 11 years old. He still runs around the yard like a pup. Highly recommended. Much better for your dog than pharmeceuticals.

First let me say, I love our veterinarian. He is gentle and cares tremendously about the animals and he is the cheapest vet around to boot. However, there is a great markup on these kinds of things and I got this for about $30 less than the first bottle I got from him. They are EXACTLY the same thing... so why should I pay $30 more? I will buy from this group again! The economy being what it is, I need to save all the money I can and I love my puppy. It's a winner both ways.

Our vet recommended the Synovi G3 tablets to our active 9 year old Weimeraner dog who was always hurting his wrists during play. Ever since we started giving him the tablets, he hasn't come running back to us limping. We really believe these tablets have helped lubricate his joints, and have helped him to continue his outside activity without pain.

Excellent product for dogs with hip dysplasia, or large breeds susceptible to hip dysplasia. I have a 10 year old 45lb Shepard mix with hip dysplasia and have her on a daily dosage of 1 of these tabs per my vet's recommendation and have avoided the need for surgery on her for 8 years since it was diagnosed...and she is as active as when she was a pup. I also have a 3 and half year old 140lb Saint Bernard who does not have hip dysplasia, but is of a breed susceptible to it, and has been on a daily dosage of 1 and half tabs per my vets recommendation for the last 2 years...and so far so good, no signs at all of hip dysplasia. I highly recommend this product as a low cost preventative, especially if you want to avoid a very costly surgical procedure later if you have a large breed dog.
